And it’s louder than before.

Tyler…there’s a noise coming from my dad’s trunk.

I think there’s something in my dad’s trunk.

It’s freaking me out…

I can hear it moving around!
Suddenly, flashing blue and red lights appear behind the car.
And a police car pulls over behind her.

I just got pulled over.
Abbi watches the police officer step out of his cruiser.

No, it’s not my dad…

I don’t recognize this guy.
The police officer approaches the car…
And Abbi lowers the window…
Handing over her driver’s license and registration.

Was I speeding, officer?
Police Officer

Police Officer

The police officer stares for what feels like an eternity.

He marches back to his cruiser.

He wants me to open the trunk!

She hears what sounds like a moan from inside the trunk…

Tyler, I think there’s a PERSON in my dad’s trunk!
The police cruiser pulls up alongside Abbi.

The police officer drives away.
The voice in the trunk moans louder.
Abbi gets out of the car.

DON’T OPEN THAT TRUNK!!!
The voice in the trunk yells—
She sprints into the nearby field…
And hides in the tall reeds.
A second police cruiser pulls up.
Abbi watches from her hiding spot.
She sees her dad step out of the cruiser…
She hears the voice inside the trunk yelling.
Abbi’s about to call out to her dad…
When he pulls out his gun.
Dad looks around once more…
As if to make sure nobody is watching.
He opens the trunk, gun ready.
Abbi can’t see who’s inside…
Her dad leans over the trunk.
Her dad shoots into the trunk.
As he leans over to check on what’s inside…
An iPhone falls out of his pocket.
It has a glow-in-the-dark case.
Abbi
You have Tyler’s phone!
Dad puts the gun back in his holster.
Dad
Don’t come any closer.
Abbi
YOU were texting me this whole time!
Abbi
From my boyfriend’s phone!
Abbi stares inside the trunk.
At the body that’s laying there.
Now she knows who’s inside.
Dad
You’re Daddy’s little girl.
Dad
And I would never let anybody change that.
